Through this data protection notice, we explain how we process your personal data and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). CASA HELP (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) is responsible for the processing of the data.

  1. Legal Bases

The term “personal data” refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR and BDSG. Data processing takes place only on the basis of a legal basis. We process personal data only with your consent (§ 15 para. 3 of the German Telemedia Act – TMG or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or for carrying out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), or for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR). If you apply for a position within our company, we process personal data in order to decide whether an employment relationship is to be established (Section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG).

  1. Storage Period

Unless otherwise specified, we retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing or to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. Statutory retention obligations may arise in particular from commercial or tax regulations. For example, we retain personal information contained in accounting documents for ten years from the end of the calendar year in which it was collected, and information contained in business letters and contracts for six years. We also retain data relating to consents provided and complaints/claims for the duration of the applicable statutory limitation periods.

III. Categories of Data Recipients

We use data processors to process data. Their activities include, for example, website hosting, maintenance and IT support, customer and order management, accounting, marketing activities, or document destruction. A processor is a natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the controller. They do not use the data for their own purposes, but only in accordance with our instructions and are contractually obliged to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data.
